(up)dates!

Opening day is exactly two weeks away, and I’m over here drawing? Yes.

After meeting and conversing with several highly creative individuals, my mind has been spilling over with visions and symbols and images that I need to get out! Like this one:

When I discovered that August 30th was a blue moon (that’s when 2 full moons occur in one month), I knew that was the day I had to open these doors.

Then I learned it wasn’t just a blue moon, but *also* a super moon (closest to the earth and therefore intensely illuminated). 

*Then* I learned it was also a Pisces moon. Without going down a rabbit hole of meaning, I’ll just note that I’m a true Pisces (ruled by intuition, balanced between reality and dreams, tapped into other worlds at times…) and thus, this moon just couldn’t be more fitting for what’s about to happen. :)

Since I do operate via the intuitive process, these next two weeks will be interesting. Today, for example, it felt necessary to write these words, to draw those fish against the moon… Yet I am grounded by some dates…

✢ DATES! ✢

As mentioned, 8/30 (the blue moon) is my soft opening. This means no grand fanfare. Just an open flag and the intent to be “ready” with the retail space. For one, or for a thousand. (Probably 3 or 4 if we’re going to guess.)

A few days later, 9/1, the workshop/”gathering” space will be blessed by a special circle of creators. Or maybe a triangle of creators, if schedules don’t align! Either way, there will be humans at a table drinking tea, reflecting, connecting, and marking this moment in the journey with respect to the moon. 

A few weeks later, on 9/23 (the Autumn Equinox), I’ll have more of a grand opening. I don’t know what that looks like yet, but I know that by this time, I’ll have put the word out in a much bigger way.
